That Lucky Old Sun (A Narrative) is an upcoming album by musician, singer, songwriter and producer Brian Wilson, best known as a founding member of The Beach Boys. It is a collaboration with Van Dyke Parks, lyricist for The Beach Boys' legendary SMiLE recordings, and his band mate Scott Benett. The new song cycle was performed at a special series of concerts at the Royal Festival Hall in London, England and the State Theatre in Sydney, Australia, where Wilson has previously performed Pet Sounds and SMiLE in their entirety. Wilson said the new piece will consist of five 'rounds', with interspersed spoken word.[1] Brian Wilson released a special track, "Midnight's Another Day," on his website on August 6, 2007, later followed by "Forever She'll Be My Surfer Girl." Recording of the album was scheduled to commence on January 18, 2008. Further recording resumed in late April 2008.
