List of Robot Chicken episodes |
That Hurts Me is the nineteenth episode of the first season of Robot Chicken.
[edit] List of skits
[edit] That Better Not Be Poo
A young boy, trying to light what appears to be a paper bag on an old man's doorstep, is confronted by the old man, who tells him, "That better not be poo."
[edit] Hell Freezes Over
Hell (which is filled with the people that voted for Ralph Nader) freezes over when a nerd gets laid and begins celebrating it - the woman slept with him because "nerds are hot."
[edit] Simon Says Go Play In Traffic
A game of Simon Says is taken to new depths, when Simon tells the children to go play in traffic.
[edit] Godzilla Remade Again
Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich re-make Godzilla...again.
This version, with a dance scenes reminiscent of the Million Dollar Mermaid, and chorus lines of baby Godzillas in roller skates, is a disappointment to the CEO of Sony - and Devlin and Emmerich couldn't be happier.
[edit] Fear Itself
FDR gives his first inaugural address where he says "there is nothing to fear but fear itself."[1] Members of the audience disagree mentioning other things to fear, including spiders, snakes, and werewolves.
-
- Roosevelt appears to be standing up without support at the podium. This would be impossible as Roosevelt was crippled by Guillain-Barré syndrome[1] and while in private used a wheelchair, in public he was supported on one side by an aide or one of his sons.
[edit] Cliff Pogo
Using a pogo stick near a cliff can have near-disastrous effects.
[edit] Where Do They Get the Energy?
In a parody of SpongeBob SquarePants, Spongebob and Patrick Star have a secret supply of energy.
[edit] Bat-Monkey
A crime-fighting monkey saves monkeys from a monkey supervillain, in a parody of the Batman 1960s television show.
[edit] Crazy Davey
Crazy Davy the car dealer is undergoing Chapter 11 debt restructuring, which leads his TV commercial to get a little out of control.
[edit] Fear Itself (Part 2)
The list gets a tad longer: spiders, snakes, werewolves, sharks, dying alone, zombies, clowns, heights, big dogs, robots with human brains, Johnson's wife, and... fear itself.
[edit] Huggytime Bears
After being killed on an archery range, Doug finds himself facing the "Wheel of Reincarnation" to determine his next life.
The items on the "Wheel of Reincarnation" read (in order clockwise from the item the spinner is pointing to):
-
- Keira Knightley's Underwear
- Huggytime Bear
- Peasant Farmer
- Weasel
- Heavy Metal Singer
- Keg of Beer
- Rock, Paper, or Scissors
- Sex Goddess
- Big Time Loser
- Polygamist
- Pelican
- Suicidal Maniac
- A Foot
- Sports Car
- Inanimate Rock
- World Leader
The wheel lands on Huggytime Bear and Doug wakes up in the world of the Huggytime Bears. He is now "Doug-alot bear". Doug doesn't quite understand the mission of the Huggytime Bears, as he throws "Shamrock Bear" (obviously Irish and therefore drunk) into a camp fire.
The other Huggytime bears wreak revenge bring out "The Gimp" - until Doug wakes from his nightmare and is comforted by Keira Knightley.
[edit] I Got You, Timmy!
Timmy, who thinks he's going to destroy a little boy's work - raking leaves into a pile, is thwarted when he finds a fire hydrant at the core of the pile.
[edit] Big Horror Movie Brother
Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Leatherface, Pinhead, Ghostface and Michael Myers sign on for the reality show "Big Brother". Mute Killer Charades, prank calls, repeated stabbings, and an immunity challenge ensue. Michael Myers is voted out at the end of the episode, left to return to his comedy career as a parody of Michael Myers the horror film character and Mike Myers the actor.
The films represented by the house members are:
-
- Freddy Krueger, from A Nightmare on Elm Street
- Jason Voorhees, from Friday the 13th
- Leatherface, from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
- Michael Myers, from Halloween
- Pinhead, from Hellraiser
- Ghostface, from Scream
-
- Jason, Leatherface, and Michael play charades. Charades involves one person acting out a word or phrase while others try to guess what it is, and is disqualified if he/she speaks. The game is one-sided as not one of the killers playing can talk properly (which is probably the joke).
-
-
- Despite what Freddy says, Jason does the dance called "The Robot" and then does the dance "Funky Chicken," (Robot Chicken).
-
