"That's All" is a song by Genesis. The song, written by lead singer/drummer Phil Collins, appears as the second track on their 1983 eponymous album, and was its second single after "Mama".
The US single, which went to #6 in early-1984, included "Second Home by the Sea" as the B-side. The UK single featured "Taking It All Too Hard" as the flipside, and went to #16. Another single version included a live section of "Firth of Fifth".
The song begins with Tony Banks playing the main riff of the song on a Yamaha CP-70 Electric Grand Piano. The other keyboards used on this song are a Sequential Circuits Prophet-10 for organ pads and a Synclavier II for the organ solo in the middle section. The coda features a guitar solo played by Mike Rutherford, as the timing speeds up, and then it fades away.
The video depicts the band as homeless men playing cards and keeping warm at an open fire. It was the first time Genesis used director Jim Yukich for one of their promos.
The song is sampled by Ali & Gipp in the song I Told Ya from their album Kinfolk.
Keane covered the song for the VH1 Rock Honors in 2007 to honor Genesis.[1]
