From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tharaka (Pronounced Thaa-ra-ka), was a mythological king from Lanka.

According to legend, he designed the craft, "Dandu Monara", which was able to fly, but he was unable to build it. And the king Ravana built it. Stories told from Ramayana tell of abducting queen Seetha from Rama.[1][2]
