Thana (Kannur)

Thana is a small place in the Kannur District of Kerala, South India.

It is a road junction in NH-17 (National Highway 17) with in Kannur municipality. From this junction the highway proceeds south to Talasseri, proceeds north to Kannur Town, and further to Taliparamba. One road goes to Kakkad and the opposite road goes to Kannur City. Some shopping centres and private hospitals are situated around Thana. The District Ayurvada Hospital is also situated very near to this junction.
