Thalawathugoda

Thalawathugoda is a Colombo suburb, situated few kilometers away from Colombo City Centre next to Battaramulla & Pelawatte on Borella-Kottawa main road, bordering Sri Jayawardenapura-Kotte (Administrative Capital of Sri Lanka).

Beautiful Paddy fields and Marshlands surrounded natural landscape in this area certainly attract to nature lovers. The Diyawanna Oya (Parliament Lake) also attached to Thalawathugoda from "Sri Jayawardenapura-Kotte" side boundary.

This is a fast developing excellent residential area with all facilities. New modern luxury housing schemes being developed around Kalalgoda Road and Hokandara Road to cater high end housing demand.

A notable expatriate and upper middle class local population lives in Thalawathugoda.
