Thadig

Thadig (Arabic: ثادق‎) is city in Nejd, Saudi Arabia. It is a historical city established about four centuries ago. It is located to the north from Riyadh (about 150 km). Renowned families of Thadiq include the Al-Essa, Al-Mohawes, Al-Jarba, Al-Manea, AL-Haidary, Al-Jedaie, Al-Hajri, Al-Majed, Al-Daham, Al-Swailem, Al-Dorayhim,AL-Hudeal, Al-Ganam, Al-Shaikh ,AL-Sheban ,AL-Waheby and Al-ghathbar families. Also, as historical books said that alsheek Hamad bin Nasser Al-Jarba was the governor of Thadiq more than 30 years when King Abdul-Aziz was the King of Saudi Arabia.Al-jarba is a branch of the big family al-Essa.
