Tha Block Is Hot is the debut album released on Cash Money Records by the New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne.
It was believed that Wayne did not use any vulgarities on this album but if you listen closely there are various to be found, most prominently on the song "Fuck tha World" (the album has a Parental Advisory label because his collaborators, such as the Hot Boys and Big Tymers, used several vulgarities, but Wayne used hardly any.) The album still contains a large amount of sexual content, and was released in an edited version removing any profanities.
In "Come On" in Wayne's second verse, there is a line that is backmasked. The line "...ready for war but I ain't the captain of no Goddamn tank..." was edited because Baby thought it'd be misinterpreted as a beef with No Limit Records.
