[edit] About this template

I think the scope of this template is too broad. In fact, I'm not even sure it is really necessary. I think a category and perhaps a list would be more helpful and easier to maintain. Perhaps it could be limited to films, and leave the directors and other countries out of it? There are other directors on Wikipedia who have made Thai gay films, but probably wouldn't appreciate being put in a "gay" template. — WiseKwai 10:29, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

More thoughts: Or perhaps it is not broad enough. In light of Lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender-related films of Thailand and a new category, Category:LGBT-related films from Thailand, I wonder if the template is still needed? Perhaps rather than a template on films, maybe one is needed for the broader subject of LGBT topics in SE Asia or Asia? See also Category:LGBT films of the Philippines. — WiseKwai 21:08, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Categories are cool, but templates are even cooler for navigation. Doseiai2 (talk) 11:59, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
