Relatively soon after, the overlapping debris will enter into Despina's orbit

Interesting, but is it true? Why would this happen, since Despina's orbit is about 2000 km outide of Thalassa's? Are impacts between the fragments expected to be sufficiently energetic to shift the orbits of a significant portion ub by this amount? Deuar 16:14, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
