Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- To sign your posts (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
- Try the Tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the test area.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk
- Follow the Wikipedia:Simplified Ruleset
- Eventually, you might want to read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- Remember Wikipedia:Neutral point of view
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!

[edit] User page
It is felt that the article you created at Ed Comix Inc. is not suitable for a Wikipedia article, which must have a notable subject and be verifiable. I have moved it to User:Th' Duck, which is where users are free to write about themselves. You are at liberty to move it back into the (Main) namespace but bear in mind that if you do so, it is likely to be nominated for deletion.
Note, however, that the purpose of a user page is to enable active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. Wikipedia is not a general hosting service, so your user page is not a personal homepage. Content unrelated to Wikipedia or its editing is likely to be removed.
Please see the user page guidelines, especially this section for more information. -- RHaworth 01:45, 3 October 2005 (UTC)

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia; it is considered vandalism. This includes creating nonsense articles. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --Wafulz 23:01, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image source problem with Image:Nobody-expects.jpg
This is an automated message from a robot. Thanks for uploading Image:Nobody-expects.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:00, 25 August 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Thank you. [edit] Fruity Treasures
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Av99 03:05, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] August 2007
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself, as you did with Fruity Treasures. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Chunky Rice 03:06, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Fruity Treasures. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Chunky Rice 03:08, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. Chunky Rice 03:14, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Because of the speed of your page moves and the severity of your attack article, I blocked you indefinitely even though you received another warning. Academic Challenger 03:17, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
