Template talk:Tfd-kept
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is nearly useless, since it doesn't have a link to where in the log it was discussed. That it was tfd'd in the past can almost always be seen by inspecting the page's history. —Cryptic (talk) 18:26, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
changed it now, it will look like this now:
- This template was listed on templates for deletion. The result of the discussion was keep. The full discussion may be found [[{{{entry}}}|here]].
- Hm, I was about to say, "And you broke it in all the places where it was already used, which is exactly the reason I didn't just do it myself," except, looking at its whatlinkshere, it's been substed very consistently. Whew. —Cryptic (talk) 19:30, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
Well, it turns out that What links here was broken at the time, and there are plenty of references.
However, the result should always be keep! Thus the result is a rather useless parameter. I left it in, but shortened the language a bit:
- This template was listed on templates for deletion. The result of the [[{{{entry}}}|discussion]] was keep.
[edit] oldtfd
Now I feel stupid for going to all the trouble of fixing oldtfd the other day - has it been deprecated in favor of this? -- nae'blis (talk) 17:04, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
- Dunno, should be discussed at Wikipedia talk:Templates for deletion#Notes on talk pages.

- BAD IDEA! Parameters don't match!
