Early Articles I have contributed to include:
- Bonzi Buddy, my first contribution.
And I have also requested articles such as a History of Water.
Please contact me through the "Discussion" section of this page or on the side-button labeled "E-mail this user".
I have some basic Wikipedia formatting listed below in my Beginning to Edit in Wikipedia tutorial.
[edit] Beginning to Edit in Wikipedia
Italicize words, phrases, or names by putting two single quotes before and after the text you wish to format. Ex: ''This is sample text '' = This is sample text
Bold words, phrases, or titles can be made by putting three single quotes before and after the text you wish to format. Ex: '''This is sample text ''' = This is sample text
Internal Links, which are links to other Wikipedia entries, can be created by enclosing the link with two brackets. Ex: [[Computers]] = Computers
Basic guidelines for creating an article and improving Wikipedia:
- Do not vandalize pages by putting comments directly on pages, negative remarks, or off-topic content of no use on that particular page. Similarly, do not delete useful content. If you wish to comment on the content, please do so under the "Discussion" tab. Information may fit in another article better than another.
- Make sure to search for an existing article using various correct spellings and capitalization before you create an new article, unless you plan to establish a redirect page.
- Try to keep your article free of bias or Point-of-View, since Wikipedia has many different users with a variety of opinions.
- Do not promote yourself on Wikipedia by adding your name or creating an article about yourself. Since this is an online Encyclopedia, it should have useful information
- If you want to test editing skills, please do so in the Sandbox.
This is all for now, more coming soon...
