[edit] The Artemis Fowl WikiProject

Hi. In the last month I have discovered the Artemis Fowl WikiProject and have slowly but surely been making progress. I have, however, noticed that no one else seems to be doing anything. So, it's as simple as this. Respond to this message, or your name gets removed from the participants list and I assume leadership of the WikiProject, because I will actually get something done. You have exactly 1 week, or 7 days, or 168 hours. They all mean the same thing.

However, please know that this is nothing personal against you. This is a generic message sent to every person on the participants list. Thanks for your co-operation. -007bond aka Matthew G aka codingmasters 10:50, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome!

Also, can you help me out with the Tara article? You can add the edits yourself. Sr13 04:51, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

More work needed for the Species part of the Artemis Fowl template. Sr13 04:58, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

Don't always trust wikipedia for all your research. Remember- wikipedia is not always correct. Although I used some of wikipedia for notes, that would be just to fill in the gaps. B cul. Sr13 05:07, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

Firstly, sign your name with four tildes (~~~~). This way, you discussion can be archived. What do you mean by Artemis Fowl and math? Sr13 05:32, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

There is a Arty Wikiproject! I signed you in as a participant. Sr13 05:48, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

I did...not interested unless I read the series. Thanks!!! Sr13 05:53, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Another coooool userbox to add to your collection of userboxes. There is also a WikiProject Mathematics.

An excerpt (from me, of course)-

Goblins are fairies that are considered very stupid by other races. They are able to conjure fireballs. Goblins are lucky if they can make friends, as they cannot cooperate with others. A group of them create the B'wa Kell, a mafia group that smuggles batteries for weaponery and started a rebellion that nearly destroyed Haven, the capital of the fairy people.

[edit] AfD Nomination: Wing Commander Vinyáyá

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem to me that Wing Commander Vinyáyá meets these criteria, I have started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wing Commander Vinyáyá. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, an administrator will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. --CyberGhostface 21:50, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your reversions in Punahou School

Hello! I noticed that you reverted a number of legitimate edits on the Punahou School article. I am reverting your edit, but since it seemed to be considered a vandalism cleanup, I wanted to ask what happened. Thanks for your help! —Keakealani·?·!·@ 01:28, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Punahou School

Hey, no worries! I forgive you. Keakealani reverted your edit, and I understand. For your questions...

For referencing, type <ref> url, title of page </ref> . If you scroll down on the editing page, you'll find the <ref></ref> thing in the table.

For TWINKLE, just be careful of what you do. You will eventually get used to it.

You can't change the UTC time on the timestamp, just remember that you live in Hawaii.

All I can say for now. Happy editing! Sr13 (T|C) 01:51, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:Hickam homer.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Hickam-homer.jpg. The copy called Image:Hickam-homer.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and remember exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 19:32, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

While looking at the category for Wikipedians with committed identities, I realized that you are using a SHA-1 hash. While SHA1 hashes are relatively secure, it is possible for them to be hacked. I advise that you try a SHA-512 hash. A calculator for SHA512 can be found here,[[1]]. While not required, this would further add to the seecurity of your account. [edit] WP:WARRIORS

Hi, I don't really know if you in charge of the project or what, but I wanted to ask you something. The current template for WP: Warriors doesn't have a section where someone can put a rating for the article, which I think would be very useful. An example of a project template that does have a section for assesment is {{NovelsWikiProject}}. I wanted it to look something like that, but obviously it would have the Warriors WikiProject info on it. User :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) offered to help with making it (since I have pretty much no

idea how), but he suggested I ask someone in charge first. Thanks,  Bella Swan(Talk!) 17:50, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

I have absolutly no idea either, but I'll ask User:Kevinalewis.  Bella Swan(Talk!) 00:05, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use disputed for Image:Guardians 12 Golden.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Guardians 12 Golden.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:30, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Warriors novel pages

I'd like to point out that all Warriors novels do not need the (Warriors) portion in the title. That is only necessary for a page that already existed with that title, to differentiate between the two (And it would be impossible to create anyways). For books like Shadow of the Stars, this is not necessary, because there is not any other page with that title. --~|ET|~(Talk|Contribs) 10:45, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Redirect of RiverClan

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on RiverClan, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because RiverClan is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting RiverClan, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Hi. You have listed youself as an active contributor of WikiProject Warriors, but as we are trying to see who is still active, we have put all names under "Possibly Inactive." If you are still active, go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Warriors and move your name to "Active." Move your name to "Inactive" if you no longer wish to contribute. You may always move it back. Your name is listed on our participants page, but we are unsure of how many of the people listed there are still active contributors to the Project's activities.
