Textron Marine & Land Systems

Textron Marine & Land Systems a military contractor that manufactures armored vehicles, turrets, boats, light tanks, and other weapon systems. It is owned by Textron Systems, and was formed in the merger between Cadillac Gage and Textron Marine in 1994.[1]
Cadillac Gage manufactured the Vietnam-era Stoner 63 machine gun, the V-100 APC, Cadillac Gage Commando, the Cadillac Gage Ranger, the Stingray Light Tank, the LAV-300, and the LAV-600.
Today, Textron Marine & Land Systems produce the M1117 Armored Security Vehicle, the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) for the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Coast Guard Motor Life Boat (MLB), and Cadillac Gage turret systems. [2] It is currently developing technologies for tactical vehicles using the MillenWorks Light Utility Vehicle as a platform.[3]
The main office for Textron Marine & Land Systems is located in Slidell, Louisiana.
