Textile Bowl
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Textile Bowl is a traditional football rivalry between Clemson University and North Carolina State University. They compete for the Textile Bowl Trophy. The two teams are founding members of the Atlantic Coast Conference, and are both in the Atlantic Division of the conference. The rivalry got its name due to the fact that Clemson and North Carolina State have two of the biggest and best textile schools in the world.
The rivalry is usually considered a good natured rivalry because of how similar the two universities are in terms of mission, academics, and fans.
