Texterity is a major provider of complete digital magazine publishing solutions.

Texterity's technologies transform print publications into digital formats accessible for web, syndication, and other purposes. The company provides services for more numerous publication titles, including the a number of BPA Worldwide-audited titles.

Texterity's patented technologies utilize International standard-based technologies to enable readers to access digital magazine editions through major web browsers without the use of Flash (Adobe Flash) or other plug-ins. This approach also allows publishers to integrate magazine content with web-based social media networks and multimedia applications. Only the Texterity platform enables the integration of protected (subscription) digital magazine content with search engines.

Texterity’s customers include Condé Nast Publications, Hearst Corporation, Meredith Corporation, PennWell Publishing, Penton Media, Time Inc., Watt Publishing, and Ziff Davis, among others.

Each year, Texterity conducts a BPA Worldwide-certified survey that provides an industry profile of digital magazine reader preferences and demographic data.

In August 2007, Texterity was awarded U.S. Patent 7,257,771 for its unique “system and method for converting a page description file to a composite representation thereof for fast Web viewing.”

In July 2007, Texterity launched a beta version of the first digital magazine interface and portal specifically designed for the Apple iPhone. This was updated in November 2008 to support the Apple iPod touch.

The "2007 Digital Magazine Reader Survey" found high satisfaction and engagement among digital magazine readers and an 11% decrease in the use of print magazines.

EContent magazine named Texterity as one of the “100 Companies that Matter Most in the Digital Content Industry.”
