Texas Tech University Independent School District (TTUISD) is the only accredited distance learning Kindergarten through twelfth grade program in Texas offering high school diplomas.[1] It is operated by Texas Tech University, which is located in Lubbock.

TTUISD has an enrollment of over 1,500 students from 40 U.S. states and 18 foreign countries.[2] Actor Jesse Plemons, who plays Landry Clark on the television show Friday Night Lights is one graduate of the school.[3] Actor Hunter Parrish is another.[4] All My Children's Leven Rambin is currently enrolled and scheduled to graduate in 2008.[5]
