Loop 304 is a beltway surrounding Crockett, Texas, the county seat of Houston County. It is 8.59 miles (13.83 killometers) long. Excluding SH 229 on the major junction list to the right, these highways intersect the beltway twice. It is established in 1956. The loop is entirely 2 lanes wide, and provides access for long distance travelers to bypass the downtown core, althogh the beltway is located entirely within the Crockett city limits.
Populated areas also dot outside the loop, but less population density.
