State Highway 125 or SH 125 is a state highway that runs from the New Mexico state border to SH 114 at Whiteface. This highway was originally signed (but not designated) concurrent with FM 769 in 1955 "for guidance of the travelling public", as this route continued into New Mexico at NM 125. The route was officially designated in 1990, with FM 769 being cancelled, which is currently being designated on State Line Road from SH 125 to NM 132/SH 83.

[edit] Previous routes

SH 125 was previously designated before 1933 on a route from Beaumont to Anahuac. By 1939, this route numbering had been cancelled, with the route transferred to SH 124 and SH 65.
