[edit] Ralphisms

Here is a small sample.

  • More teams get beat by alcohol and by themselves than by the other teams.
  • When you come to the fork in the road, be sure to clean it well before you eat with it.
  • My deliverer is coming, but He isn't carrying a pizza.
  • Do ump to others as you would have them do ump to you.
  • If there was such a person as a perfect umpire, how would an imperfect player recognize him anyway? He could only see his own imperfections. Maybe that player should take the infield of sand out of his own eyes before trying to remove the speck of sand from the empire's eye. Does that sound familiar?
  • Yes means yes! No means no! Safe means safe! out means out! Any questions???
  • We work. You Play.
  • No amount of successful base running will matter, if you are out at home.
  • If you respect our history and care about our presence, you may wear the trophy of honor in our future.
