Egon Barthels is a South Texas native with a love of the music thats featured in the show. His old boss would tell you that he took Egon off the tractor and horses and put him behind the mic. Since then, Egon’s worked around a bit on radio from Victoria, San Antonio, Bryan/College Station to Corpus Christi. Now with the show produced somewhere out in rural Gonzales County, It’s true, the humor is STILL rip-snortin’ good, but Egon knows how to keep it clean so, the kids can listen, and might even pick up a couple of highly sought after social niceties. And that makes it a whole lot better than good. So come on in and and enjoy your Texas Country Weekend.
