Web hosting company, doesn't look to me to have any encyclopedic significance. Alexa rating 397,213. —Stormie 00:44, Sep 24, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete, advert, not notable. -- Zwilson 03:15, 24 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Not terrible. The list of crimes this article doesn't committ is worthy of notice: company founders are external links, not new articles; discusses fund raising as a novel approach. It's probably not notable, but this is a encyclopedia-like article. Abstain. Geogre 04:03, 24 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Not notable. Even the best possible article, comprehensive, NPOV, etc on my neighbour's birds would not be worthy for inclusion on Wikipedia. Things must be both notable and their article well-written to be here. --Improv 19:19, 26 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: advert, no evidence of notability. Wile E. Heresiarch 05:43, 24 Sep 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. Agree with Geogre - it's not the most high-minded article - but it has a place. The community fundraising was an interesting 'first'. I think a vote for deletion means there is something advertisingly bad about the article. This doesn't meet that criteria. -- 17:30, 30 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. Notable. anthony (see warning) 19:41, 30 Sep 2004 (UTC)

end moved discussion

If this article would not be considered otherwise notable if not for the "community fundraising" aspect of this company, I think that this article may be safely deleted. The "VC 200" offer was not used to raise money for this business. IFM285

The Alexa rating is now 8,529, FWIW.

Anenome was never a TextDrive/Joyent project. It was a confederacy of users that hoped to bring the product to fruition.
