[edit] Chancellor

A couple questions... Is Kent Hance technically the chancellor of HSC? I'm not sure if he is since TTU and HSC are different institutions. Also, I don't know if HSC students are actually "red raiders."--Elred 05:07, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Yes, Kent Hance is the chancellor of HSC. He's the chancellor of the Texas Tech University System; chancellor is a system-level position, whereas "president" is institution-level (that's switched at some other schools, but that's how it works at TTU. The system includes, basically, TTU and TTUHSC, so Hance is essentially the boss of the presidents of those two schools. --Myles Long 14:20, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
