Talk:Texas State Highway Loop 9

[edit] Comment
On older maps (approx. 30 years old) I've seen Loop 9 indicated as a proposed route. One Dallas city map showed a portion of Grand Prairie, in which a surface street was already called "Loop 9". Presumably this street was a segment of the proposed route. I no longer have the map or I would be more specific. I am guessing that the Loop 9 street was renamed during the time that the Loop 9 project was dormant (I had assumed the project was abandoned years ago). -- Gyrofrog (talk) 17:55, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- Having just looked at a Google map, I think this street is now called "W Freeway St." -- Gyrofrog (talk) 20:19, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
