Tess Adamson is a fictional character in the New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street.
She was a nurse at Shortland Street Primary Care Clinic and has one son, Nate. She was in a relationship with Nate's crush, Hunter McKay. Tess and Hunter's relationship has now been revealed to everyone.Hunter proposed to Tess on November 29th of 2007 on the 30th she turned down the proposal and then ended the relationship then resigned from her job at Shortland Street Hospital and fled Ferndale with her son Nate.
