[edit] To improve this article:

1. What does Tesswehas mean in Ojibwe and what how would it be spelled in the modern Algonkin and/or Ojibwe?
2. Rearrange content into sections. Expand information on Tessouat's diplomacy and politics, efforts to monopolize trade, relations with the Jesuits and Christian Algonkins, and conversion.
3. Sort out differences between Tessouat I and Tessouat II and split into two articles. Make this a disambig.
4. Add more context on the Algonkin-Huron-French-Dutch-Iroquois-British relations of the time and how that affected the rise and fall of the Gichi-ziibi-ininiwag. Instead of saying they went extinct, tell where they went.
