Thanks for supporting me in my RFA. My Request was successful with 41 supports, 12 opposes and 5 neutrals, and I'll do my best to live up to your expectations. [edit] A short Esperanzial update

As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.

As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.

Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Userpage awards

Hi Terence Ong! You've signed up to be a judge for the Esperanza User Page Award! You'll have three user pages to examine. The user pages you get coincide with your signup number. So if you signed up to be a judge in spot 1 than you will get nominations 1-3. Pick your favorite one, and list it in the finalist section. After all 5 judges have chosen a finalist it's time to award them 1-10 points in the four categories:

  • Attractiveness: general layout, considering colour scheme and/or use of tables if applicable
  • Usefulness: links to subpages or editing aids, helpful information
  • Interesting-ness: quirky, unique, captivating, or funny content
  • General niceness: at the judges' discretion

Please see the Scores section on this page for additional information on your job as a judge.

Keep in mind that your scores are confidential! Email Petros471 with your scores and final picks. As soon as all the scores have been tallied, a winner will be announced! Thanks.

Please note my email is currently broken, so just choose your finalist for now. Also I was just wondering why you've got a wikibreak notice on your userpage when your contributions show you are active (and you're standing in the Esperanza elections), is it just out of date? Petros471 20:33, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
I've signed up for new email account so you can now go ahead and send me your scores! Cheers, Petros471 13:15, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your RfA thanks template

When you recently thanked me for my RfA post on your's (thanks for the thanks), I think you were using a template to generate the box, but of course you substituted it - what was the name of the template? Thanks! —Xyrael / 20:39, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

Ah, okay. Ive made one basd off yours now here. Thanks. —Xyrael / 11:50, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WP:ESP/UPA

Hello, Terence Ong. This is a quick message to remind you that all 5 finalists for the Esperanza User Page Award have been chosen. You now need to judge those 5 pages, awarding each one 1-10 points for attractiveness, usefulness, interesting-ness and general niceness. Refer to the Scores section at the project page if you are unsure of how to score.

Once you have scored the 5 pages, email Petros471 using the specified format. As soon as all the scores have been tallied, a winner will be announced. Thanks. May the Force be with you! Shreshth91(review me!) 08:31, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
