Terry Ward (1970-) is an American radio announcer and an artist. The latter occupation is what he was better known as, however. As an artist, he was thought to have influenced the Tribute in Light temporary memorial, which honored the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 in New York City. He has also accomplished other, significant things mentioned below.

The following lists Terry Ward's various other accomplishments throughout his career:

A page on an art website says he sent design ideas similar to Tribute in Light to Mayor Giuliani, the Port Authority, the governor's office, and other offices in mid-October of 2001. (This was six months before Tribute in Light was unveiled.)

Ward also submitted a design 1 for the Harriet Tubman Square Sculpture in Manhattan, and a design [1] for the September Eleventh Flight 93 National Memorial [2] in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.

The artist also designs flags, insignia, medals and emblems. He proposed a medal design for the September Eleventh rescuers; the design was documented on the New York Municipal Art Society archive website. Ward created the new municipal seal for Virginia. Ward submitted designs for new national flags for East Timor [3] and for Mozambique. He is thought to be the creator of the unofficial Washington, DC "statehood flag" nicknamed the "map-star flag".
