Terry Tyler

Terry Christopher Tyler (born October 30, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan) is a retired American basketball player.

A 6'7" forward/guard from the University of Detroit (now known as the University of Detroit Mercy), Tyler played 11 seasons (1978-1989) in the NBA as a member of the Detroit Pistons, Sacramento Kings, and Dallas Mavericks. He averaged 10.2 points and 5.4 rebounds in his career and earned NBA All-Rookie Team honors in 1979.[1]

In 2001, he was inducted into the Detroit Mercy Titans Hall of Fame.[2]
