Terry Teagle

Terry Michael Teagle (born April 10, 1960 in Broaddus, Texas) is an American former professional basketball player in the NBA whose career lasted from 1982 to 1993.
Teagle, a 6'5" shooting guard from Baylor University, was selected 16th overall in the 1982 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets. He lasted two seasons in Houston (1982-84) before moving on to play with Detroit Pistons (1984-85), Golden State Warriors (1984-90) and Los Angeles Lakers (1990-92) before returning to the Rockets to play two games in April 1993, retiring after that. He has played 732 games in the NBA (regular season and playoffs). He has also played professionally in Italy for Benetton Treviso (1992-Jan 1993) and Goccia di Carnia Udine (1993-94).
While playing for the Lakers during the 1990-91 NBA season, Teagle made the shot on which teammate Magic Johnson claimed the all-time assist record from Oscar Robertson.
