Terry Rupp (baseball coach)

Terry Rupp (born April 12, 1966) is the head baseball coach at the University of Maryland. He has been at the helm of the Maryland program since 2001, and has posted a 170-218 record there. From 1996 to 2000, he coached at the University of Tampa where he posted a 215-80(.728) record. His overall coaching record stands at 385-298(.564).
The 2006 season saw him coach three players who entered the MLB draft. Maryland also won a series against No.6 Clemson. In 2005, Maryland beat top ranked Georgia Tech, and later upset fifth ranked Miami(Fl). In 1998, he was named Division II national coach of the year, after guiding Tampa to a national championship.
