Terry Link is a Democratic member of the Illinois Senate, representing the 30th District since 1997. He currently serves as the Majority Caucus Chairman and Chairman of the Senate Revenue Committee.

Link and his wife Susan McCall Link live in Vernon Hills, and they have four daughters and one grandson. He attended North Chicago High School before going on to Stout State University. Link's business career included being a partner in Major Industrial Trucking, a Lake County industrial equipment business, and working at Johnson Controls in the governmental affairs division. He also served in the State Treasurer’s office and the Secretary of State’s office.
