Terri McCormick served as Wisconsin State Representative representing the 56th district in the Northeastern part of the state from 2000 until 2007. She was an unsuccessful candidate for the Republican nomination in Wisconsin's 8th congressional District losing to John Gard.
She had chaired the Committee on Economic Development and was Vice Chair of the Judiciary Committee.
In recent years, McCormick had been active in reducing healthcare costs for local governments and expanding public defender representation for indigent defendants in the state.
McCormick lives in Greenville and has a son, Nathan Lease.
