Terri Dwyer

Terri Dwyer (born 1973, in Syston, Leicestershire) is an English actress.

She began her career as a model and in 1995 won the part of Ruth Osbourne in the British soap opera, Hollyoaks. After leaving Hollyoaks in 2001, she participated in the Channel 4 reality tv show, The Games and went on to win a gold medal.

In 2003, she briefly returned to Hollyoaks and also became a regular presenter on the ITV1 programme Loose Women. In 2005, she joined the cast of Grange Hill, playing the part of school teacher, Miss Adams. In June, 2006, Terri helped ITV Play launch a new show: Rovers Return Quiz Night. She was one of the main presenters on the programme, alongside Paul Hendy.

Dwyer left ITV Play in June 2006, after accepting the job as main presenter on ITV's 60 Minute Makeover, taking over from fellow Loose Women Claire Sweeney who left to join a theatre production.

Terri co-presented 'Coronation Street/Emmerdale Confidential' on ITV along with Jeremy Edwards (who played the husband of Dwyer's character in Hollyoaks).

Dwyer also made a guest appearance on popular comedy Bo' Selecta in a The Bear's Tail sketch.

After a series of tabloid accounted liaisons, she married Sean Marley at Dalmeny village church on 5 September 2004. Dwyer gave birth to her first child, a son named Cadon A.J. Marley on 1 March 2006.
