Terrence Kiel (born November 24, 1980) is a former American football safety in the National Football League. He played his entire career for the San Diego Chargers from 2003-2006 after being drafted by them in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He played college football at Texas A&M.

Kiel was drafted by the Chargers with the 62nd pick of the 2nd round in the 2003 NFL Draft. On March 1, 2007 the Chargers cut him.
[edit] Off-The-Field problems
In 2003 Kiel was shot 3 times after an attempted carjacking in Houston. On September 26, 2006 Kiel was arrested for multiple drug charges including: possession, possession with the intent to sell, and transportation of a controlled substance. Police came to the Chargers practice facility and arrested him. He was released after posting a $1,550,000 bond.[1] On February 7, 2007 he pleaded guilty to felony and misdemeanor drug charges for shipping codeine-based cough syrup to Texas. He is ordered to do 100 hours of volunteer work, including talking to young people about dangers of drugs and undergo counseling for urinating in public.
