[edit] Mini Biography

Terrell Baker is a jazz musician from Cleveland, Ohio, who has enjoyed cult success since his first concert in the mid 1980s. Originally trained in classical music, he quickly adopted the trumpet before adapting to the brash music styles of his idols, Miles Davis and Lee Koontz. Baker's band played in the US and parts of Europe, including the UK and Belgium. His musical lineup in the US consisted of Chet Adams on horns, Dee Resner on drums and Maxie Thomas on bass. For his foreign tours he would usually employ local musicians. Upon one visit to London in early 2003 he enlisted his brother, Derek, on horns, with Jay Queenan on drums and Mike Fury on bass. He has recorded several albums and EPs on independent US jazz labels and currently resides in Cleveland where is attempting to put a new band together.
