Terralink International

Terralink International is a New Zealand owned and operated provider of Geographic information systems (GIS) and mapping solutions for better business management. They assist organisations in integrating their own data sets to create effective, sophisticated GIS systems, and specialise in delivering mapping, property information and imagery, as well as geographical and spatial information. Their comprehensive and accurate land database means they produce and update many of New Zealand's official topographic, city and scientific maps.

Terralink International maintains a neutral position in regard to GIS platforms. Innovative use of technology and software developments have allowed flexible delivery of GIS, digital mapping, remote sensing, photogrammetric and aerial imagery applications and services.

Terralink International's head office and core production facility is situated in Wellington with a satellite office in Albany, Auckland which includes lead developers and data maintenance staff. Currently around 100 staff are employed by Terralink International.

Terralink International Limited, through its predecessors, has over a 100 years history in land information systems, spatial data capture and mapping.

The former Government owned enterprise Terralink NZ Limited was privatised in June 2001 when it was purchased by a consortium of private investors to form the current Terralink International Limited. This occurred after a receivership in January.[1] Today its shareholding is comprised of 80% Animation Research Holdings Ltd, a New Zealand company recognised globally for its innovative 3D animation achievements and 20% Spatial Holdings Ltd owned by current senior management of Terralink International. Terralink International is 100% New Zealand owned and operated.
