Terråk

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Terråk is the administrative centre of Bindal municipality, Norway. Its population (2005) is 623. Terråk is the center of 94% of the trade-revenue in the region, as well as hosting the anual Terråk Regatta (Terråk Reggae). The Terråk Reggae is a musical festival where musicians from all over scandinavia come to participate. Between march 1972 and January 1986 this festival was declared illegal due to lack of a proper Fæstrølpar (Mayor). The birth of Audun Marius Gangstø marked the end of this, and the regatta could once again continue. This tradition still increases its popularity every year by advertising and internet scams.
