"Terms of Endearment" was the seventh episode of the sixth season of The X-Files science-fiction television series created by Chris Carter.
After a pregnant couple discover that their child has birth defects, the child is abducted from the mother's womb by an apparent demon. Spender is called down to talk to the police, but dismisses the case as irrelevant to the X-Files. Mulder steals the case and investigates this apparent demon.
