• An Hun Qu (安魂曲): The Soul Calming Melody. A melody created by the Ye He Na La Family (葉赫那啦家族). Although it's known to be a powerful item, its real potential is unknown since it's never been seen on the show. Aside from this melody, there are also Sou Hun Qu (蒐魂曲/Soul Collecting Melody) and Xi Hun Qu (洗魂曲/Soul Cleansing Melody).

• Bai Fa Bai Zhong Gui Xin Si Jian Biao (百發百中歸心似箭鏢): A little arrow-like weapon known for flying back at the user. There is no difference in the effect even when its time of being active is expired. It first shows in KO One.

• Bao Yu Li Hua Dong Ye Bu Dong Shei Dou Mei Yong Yi Neng Fan Zhi Qi (暴雨梨花動也不動誰都沒用異能反制器): A device used to neutralize all powers within the area. Only Xia Xiong has the key to activate it.

• Bing Gu Zhou (冰箍咒): A necklace created with ice that can only be obtained every three centuries on the top mountain in the North Pole. When the wearer puts it on and calls out the words "Bing Qi Lin" (冰淇淋), it will automatically make the wearer feel the temperature of negative 600 degrees. It is first shown when doctor Xia Gu gives it to Gui Feng, and tricks him into putting it on, sealing him like the Feng Long Tie (封龍貼).

• Bing Qi Jing Guan Ju (兵器境管局): A weaponry store located in different places and has many special items that can be useful. The store manager is well aware of many things. When no magical customer visits, the store changes its name to hide its location. A similar store has been seen in KO One.

• Dao Pian Ji Hua (刀片計劃): Slice Plan. To take over the world, the Master of the Ye He Na La family did an experiment to create an army of people and control them with the supreme ring (至尊戒) that can only be worn by the head of the family. The people who were created by this experiment are called "Dao Pian" (刀片). Like Shi Xin Sha Shou (石心殺手), they are usually harmless and unaware of their true identities. But when someone uses the supreme ring to activate them, they will become senseless robots and do whatever the wearer tells them to. This conspiracy became a myth to most people, and only the head of the family and those who were involved in the experiment knew the conspiracy's existence. Han (寒) and Bing Xin (冰心) are two of the people who were made in this experiment. After the destruction of the supreme ring, the created people were freed and remained unaware of their true identities.

• Fang Hu Ci Chang (防護磁場): "Defense Magnetic Shield". It is the force field that protects the Iron Dimension from outside attacks. It is supported by Jiu Wu's power.

• Fen Jian Da Fa (弅劍大法): A sword-based attack that can eliminate everything within 100 miles, including the user himself. Aside from elimination, this attack can also be used to transfer energy to another. Lan Ling Wang used it to transfer his power of lightning to Xia Tian. No spells required, just motions and the user's blood. This attack has only been used by Lan Ling Wang.

• Fen Shen (分身): "Alternate counterpart" in translation. In (almost) every dimension a person is born, power-user or Ma Gua. These persons are each other's counterparts in their respective dimensions. When two counterparts meet in the same dimension, the stronger one will weaken the other's power until he disappears. In this tendency, if the stronger counterpart is evil, he will absorb his counterpart's power or let him be weakened to death. However, if both are good, the stronger counterpart would want to transfer his power to the weaker one. But if that happens, the stronger counterpart's power would also weaken. If one person loses his power, he can use his alternate counterpart to restore it by letting transfer some of his power to him. This is what motivates the beginning of The X-Family.

• Feng Long Ka (封龍卡): Seal Dragon Card. A mini disk, in the form of a guitar thumbpick, that stores everything about power-users. If it were to fall into the wrong hands, it maybe used to wipe out all those with special powers. The Xia Lan Xing De family (夏蘭荇德家族) is its keeper and will guard it with their lives. The guardianship has always been passed down to the eldest son or daughter. However, its current keeper is Xia Tian, the second son, because Xia Yu, the eldest son, is a Ma Gua. Later, it becomes Xia Tian's guitar pick to play the legendary guitar "Tie Ke Wu Ji".

• Feng Long Tie (封龍貼): Seal Dragon Patch. A patch that can suppress a power-user's uncontrollable power. According to Xiu (脩), these patches are used for containing the powers of power-users with very special yet unstable abilities to prevent them from turning evil and becoming warriors of the darkness by the ties that bind them. However, though the power-users are unable to use their sealed powers, they can access them when joined together to cast spells. Xia Tian (夏天) and Xia Mei (夏美) have had these patches since they were young. Xia Tian lost his patch after he became strong enough to contain his power. Xia Yu (夏宇) had this patch for a short period of time, but he lost it after his family found out that they needed another equipment to contain his power completely.

• Gui Ling Yan Huo Qiu (鬼靈焰火球): Ghostly Fireball. An energy weapon in the form of a fireball reclaimed from the world of darkness and took 1000 hours to create. It has the ability to drain the powers of its victims before killing them, and temporarily amplify its user's strength by swallowing it. Very few people possess this ability. It's known as one of the most valuable weapons of the dark forces. Those who have managed to protect themselves from getting killed or having their powers drained are Xiong Ge who carried Wu Feng (烏風) as protection from the Gui Ling Yan Huo Qiu; and a Chord when he tries to attack with Gui Zhan Yin Cha (鬼戰音叉) the same time as the fireball explodes and manages to save himself. The only person who's ever held this weapon was Zack (and possibly the Master). The creator of this weapon is the first ancestor of the Ye He Na La family - Ye He Na La Teng (葉赫那拉 腾).

• Gui Long Pi Ke (鬼龍鎞克): Gui Long's weapon in the form of a guitar pick. He uses it to attack opponents by throwing it out and let it increase its size. The Feng Long Ka (封龍卡) is embedded in it.

• Gui Wa Wa (鬼娃娃): Ghost Puppet. A black puppet that Gui Wa uses to summon the demon Zhen Zi (貞子). It appears when Xia Mei (夏美) transforms into Gui Wa (鬼娃), and disappears when she reverts back into Xia Mei.

• Gui Zhan Yin Cha (鬼戰音叉): a Chord's weapon in the form of a tuning fork that attacks with sound waves, but it can only attack lower level demonized power-users and demons. Its waves can also protect its master from harm, but only barely.

• Hei Man Xian (黑蔓線): A black line that appears when someone is on his way to becoming a demonized power-user. The line first appears on the arm and slowly stretches out to the chest. When it reaches the heart, then the transformation will be complete. Xia Tian (夏天) and Han (寒) had this black line.

• Hei She Wu Zhi (黑色物質): Literally means "black matter." An area within the dimension where captured power-users (異能行者) are converted into demons. Nothing can ever enter this place without getting absorbed, except for Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren (終極鐵克人). Another way of entering Hei She Wu Zhi without getting absorbed is for the power-users with the elemental powers to enter, but because they don't actually fit with the qualities of Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren, there is a big probability that they won't make it back to the physical plane. Its current location within the Iron Dimension is at Zhong Ji Elementary School. Xia Tian (夏天), Lan Ling Wang (蘭陵王), Xiu (脩) and Jiu Wu (灸舞) once entered Hei Se Wu Zhi to save Bing Xin (冰心).

• Hua Gu Rou Quan (化骨柔拳): The Great Traveler's final ability. When he uses it, every hit corresponds 280 hits at the same time. This attack has been used to break the handprint caused by the God of Guns (槍靈王) on Xia Tian's chest.

• Hun Tian Mo Ku (浑天魔库): A vortex that exists in every dimension. It is the center of all evil's power created by the demonic lords. The vortex can only be activated if someone says the spell and performs the ritual to summon the vortex correctly. If the performer absorbs energy from it, he will become the most powerful dark lord in his world.

• Hun You Da Fa (魂遊大法): Allows the user to astral project and possess another. Wu La Ba Ha is not required. This ability has been used by the Master of the Ye He Na La family.

• Hun Yuan Yi Neng (混元異能): The ultimate power that lies within every power-user. It's the innermost power that protects their lives, and only unleash it at the very last moment. Once unleashed, the power-users risk losing their lives if they don't stop in time.

• Ji Yin Zhi Ri (極陰之日): Extreme day of Yin. A day that only occurs once every hundred years. This day comes with a sun eclipse and nine stars that align together and increase evil's powers and weakens the good. To the Ma Gua (麻瓜), it doesn't mean anything other than an ordinary sun eclipse, but to power-users, it is a bad omen as the power of the good weakens and demons can walk around the Earth days before the sun eclipse even arrives. This day won't last for long, but while it does, evils can take advantage of it to become the ruler of that dimension if the ritual is performed right.

• Jian Jian Ning Xue San (漸漸凝血散): A kind of powder that stops someone's bleeding by pouring it over the victim's body. To make the powder work, the whole bag must be poured over the wounded person. Xia Liu (夏流) has used it on a Chord.

• Jin Bi Dian Long (金筆點龍): A set of magical fortune-telling comic books that predicts important events of the past, the present and the future. Its title translates The Golden Pen Touches The Dragon. It was written by a mysterious man in the Gold Dimension named Jin Bi Ke (金筆客), who mysteriously disappeared 30 years ago. Whoever reads it must be pure of heart (evil or good), otherwise it will cause the reader to have headaches and some afterward side-effects. Those who read it (even those that get side-effects) dare not to speak of its prediction. In KO One, the first eight volumes foretold the final battle between the approaching dark force and the KO fighters in the Gold Dimension. In The X-Family, a ninth volume named Shi Kong Zhi Men (时空之门 - The Space-Time Door) was created in which foretold the Iron Dimension's end and everyone's effort prove failure.

• Jin Shi Kong (金時空): Also known as the Gold Dimension. It's the dimension where the first series KO One took place. Most power-users in that world are known for focusing their powers in their fighting skills, as most of them are unaware of their original abilities.

• Jing Dian (驚典): Xia Liu's book of terminology. It contains many information there is to know about the magical world, and has always been passed down from generation to genration (like the Book of Shadows). The book is actually called Wan Yong Bai Ke Bao Dian (万用百科宝典), but is shortened to "Jing Dian". It is destroyed near the end of the series when Xia Tian (夏天) tries to open the dimensional portal (時空之門) and accidentally causes everything magical to lose their abilities, including objects.

• Jing Lei (驚雷): Han's weapons in the form of a pair of drumsticks. According to her family history, every generation has always transferred their souls into their weapons, making them powerful and spiritual. It is their strongest point, and their weakest point. If the weapons are destroyed or sent to a place where it cannot return, the body will collapse and die if the weapon is not returned within two hours. Aside from fighting, Han also uses the drumsticks for drumming.

• Jiu Bu Qin Gui Shou (九步擒鬼手): Jiu Wu's famous ability to attack his opponent's Achilles' Heel within nine steps. This ability has never been seen on screen.

• Jiu Wu Xu Ni Zhao Dai Suo (九五虛擬招待所): "95 Virtual Service Room". A room in a separate dimension created by Meng Zhu (盟主) / Jiu Wu. It can be shortened as Jiu Wu Zhao Dai Suo (九五招待所/95 Service Room). This room is used for witness protection and secret meetings. People can only be transferred to this dimension through Shi Kong Jiao Nang (時空膠囊). While you live in this dimension for protection, there is really good service (food, entertainment, etc).

• Ke Mo Ba (剋魔鈸): A pair of cymbals used by Xia Liu (夏流) to attack evils with powerful sound waves. It can also be used to weaken opponents and to cast spells.

• Key Man: Title of a man who is the key to closing the space-time portal. He can be a target if evils need him to close the space-time portal that connects other dimensions. Once the portal is closed, the Key Man will turn into a head statue. Dao Ba Jie Sen (刀疤杰森) is the Key Man.

• Kou Yao Zhan (扣妖斬): Demon Hunter's primary weapon in the form of an axe. It is created by several subjects. It has the power to neutralize a demonized power-user's abilities.

• Kuang Xiao Gang Lie Ba Dian Duan Jin San (狂笑肛裂８點斷筋散): The Ye He Na La family's cruelest poison, used to kill Ma Gua (麻瓜). This poison indicates the victim to laugh to death in 8 hours, unless the antidote is taken. It's also poisonous to power-users (異能行者), but if they're strong enough, they will be able to drive it out of their bodies.

• Kun Long Suo (捆龍索): A handcuff-like item used for handcuffing people.

• Lan Ling Zhan (攔靈斬): A powerful sword used by Lan Ling Wang (蘭陵王). It is obtained from the spiritual realm and therefore possesses very special abilities, such as contacting its owner or sensing a spirit nearby. There is an instruction manual stored inside the handle. Aside from fighting, the sword can also be altered to transfer energy.

• Ling Min Pai Bei Fu Shen Jiu Hui Liang Liang Huan (靈敏牌被附身就會亮亮環): A bracelet that glows when the wearer is possessed by a spirit.

• Long Wen Ao (龍紋鏊): Da Dong's weapon in the form of a cooking pan. It was borrowed to Xia Tian (夏天) to help him amplify his power and increase his chance of winning Lan Ling Wang (蘭陵王). Visit Terminology of KO One for more information.

• Long Wen Hao (龍紋嚎): A trumpet used by both Xia Liu (夏流) and Xia Xiong (夏雄) to amplify the effect of their freezing spell.

• Ma Gua (麻瓜): "Muggle". Person or persons without special power. When a power-user gives up his powers, he will become a Ma Gua (麻瓜) himself.

• Meng Hui (夢迴): A power-user turned Ma Gua's retained psychic ability to see events that happened to someone else in the form of dreams. According to Ye Si Ren (葉思仁), it can also be given to another person, but only if the dreamer has a special bond with that person.

• Mie (滅): Literally means "destruction." It is a gateway to Mojie where only spirits and demons prevail. If a human were to enter, he/she will die. If they survive, their powers might increase to a maxmimum point or the dark energy that they absorbed from that world will kill him after they return to the human world. The entrance closes after ten minutes of someone entering and will remain closed for another century if no one comes out within those ten minutes. Xia Tian (夏天) and Lan Ling Wang (蘭陵王) are the only known survivors, because Xia Tian had the Feng Long Ka (封龍卡) for protection and Lan Ling Wang was protected by the Seven Stars Curse (七星咒). The Xia Lan Xing De family (夏蘭荇德家族) has always guarded the gateway and kept it secret from the rest of the world - with the eldest member being the guardian. The current guardian is Xia Liu (夏流).

• Ming Jie Ci Shi (冥界磁石): "Underworld Magnetic Stone". A stone that created all things. It was first discovered by power-users long ago, but because good and evil tried to possess, it was thrown into Mojie and contained in a Rou Shen Rong Jie Ci (肉身溶解池) as protection from those who wish to obtain it again. Only Lan Ling Wang (蘭陵王) has been able to reclaim a piece of it, because he was protected by the Seven Stars Curse (七星咒).

• Mo Hua Yi Neng Xing Zhe (魔化異能行者): Power-users who are demonized by Mojie (魔界), also known as demonized power-users. They are more powerful than their non-demonized counterparts. However, they are easier to defeat if you know their Achilles' heel. Evil power-users have a tendency to absorb other people's powers and use them as their own. To get rid of that tendency, the only way is to lose your own powers and become a Ma Gua. When a power-user first turns evil, his face will turn rotten and ugly, until he absorbs enough powers and then his face will return to normal. According to one method, a demonized power-user has a third eye behind his head, which serves as protective observation. Another method says that they can suppress the powers of non-demonized power-users without them noticing, but once they are exposed as demonized power-users, the effects will reverse.

• Mo Jie (魔借): Demonic Ring. A ring from the Bronze Dimension that enables the wearer to use supernatural powers and to absorb the powers of others when its "battery" runs out. It was given to Xia Yu (夏宇) to bestow him supernatural powers, but after he got access to his own powers, he threw it away. The word "Jie" (借) on this item is translated "borrow", as in borrow energy.

• Mojie (魔界): Demonic Realm. A dimension where evil resides. It co-exists besides the twelve dimensions.

• Ni Nong Wo Nong He Qi Sheng Cai Zhi Zhan Huan (你農我農和氣生財止戰環): A pair of bracelets that have the power to make peace between two people for a year. If one of the wearers is in trouble, the other one will know when the bracelet loses its power. It will also lose power if the wearers' tendency to each other turns to pure love. The bracelets have a gem on the center, one black and one white. The items are destroyed when Han (寒) turns into Shi Xin Sha Shou (石心殺手) and splits it in two, thus caused the other bracelet to break along, however, the disappearance of Xiu' bracelet may refer to him having fallen in love with Han. The bracelets are originally from the Gold Dimension (金時空).

• O Yi O Yi O (喔咿喔咿喔): An radio-like loudspeaker in the form of a bird-statue, that spreads urgent news to alert power-users like a broadcasting radio. Every magical family has one and only power-users can hear the alerts. Those who broadcast are the members of the Iron Protection Team (鐵克禁衛軍).

• Qi Xing Zhou (七星咒): Literally means Seven Stars Curse; a curse combined with seven spells that was put upon the Gu La Yi Er Family (古拉依爾家族) by the Ye He Na La Family (葉赫那啦家族) seven generations ago. Unless the cursed family finds a way to lift the curse before the eight generation is born, that curse will take away the coming generations' powers forever. It is the most powerful and cruel curse there is, therefore it can protect its victims from powerful attacks, however, it does not shield them from harmless spells, such as slow motioning or freezing. However, its protection abilities can only be activated when the victim doesn't have powers. To lift the curse, the victim must lose something very dear to him; one for each spell.

• Qilin Shou (麒麟手): A metal glove that Xia Xiong (夏雄) used as primary weapon in the early episodes. It can provide powerful attacks in combinations of other family members and cast attacking spells. The glove isn't seen again after they defeat their first primary enemy, the Illusionary Eye (幻眼).

• Rou Shen Rong Jie Ci (肉身溶解池): Body Melting Pool . A pool, with the temperature of a volcano, located in Mojie (魔界). Because it is created as a mouth to a demonic volcano, it can melt anything alive. The pool is mainly used for turning living beings into spirits or demons. The stone Ming Jie Chi Shi (冥界磁石) is located at the bottom of the pool.

• Shen Feng Pi Ke (神風鎞克): A mini weapon in the form of a guitar pick that can amplify its user's powers and speed up the healing process. If the user loses it, his powers will decrease by a pinch. The user is Xiu (脩).

• Shen Xing Jiu Bu (神行九步): An attack with unknown but powerful effects. The user of this attack is the Great Traveler (神行者).

• Shen Xing Jiu Zhuan (神行九轉): A powerful ability that can produce different effects. One of its useful methods is to combine with Wu Feng's power to increase someone's power. Another method is to create illusions and to transfer energy, which is seen when Xia Tian (夏天), Gui Feng (鬼鳳) and Jiu Wu (灸舞) get into it and have their elements transferred to Xia Tian. The user of this attack is the Great Traveler (神行者).

• Shen Zhi (神指): A God-like ability that shows people information in places where they least expect, whether it is in a TV-screen or a newspaper. The user of this ability is the Great Traveler (神行者).

• Sheng Dong Ji Xi Shu (聲東擊西術): An old recipe that tells a way to reverse the effects of a magic power put on a victim to conceal his blood running by beating up the victim. This method was used on Xia Tian (夏天) to break the Wu Ji Yin (無極印), many people used this method, people including Jiu Wu (灸舞), Lan Ling Wang (蘭陵王), Xiu (脩), Xia Liu (夏流), Han (寒) and the Great Traveler (神行者).

• Shi Kong Jia Feng (時空夾縫): It means separate-dimensional wall. It is a place located in the middle of dimensions, like a border between two places. If a person enters that place, he can't get out and will slowly be forgotten by those that know him and then disappear along with the rest of the dimension he originally comes from. The only way to get out is to open the dimension portal and allow the person to return. Once that person enters, everything he sees will represent his home and the people that he knows, but in the form of illusion, or more like filming stage. This place is only accessible if the person gets struck by enormous energy and if the gateway to other dimensions is closed.

• Shi Kong Jiao Nang (時空膠囊): It means "dimensional capsule". Used as a pill and a platform. When the pill swallowed, it will teleport the person to the preset destination in the platform. Before the teleport begins, others must leave the room, otherwise they will also be sucked into the destination.

• Shi Kong Zhi Men (時空之門): It means space-time portal. It allows power-users with the level of over 8000 to cross over to other dimensions. Only a person known as Key Man will have the power to close it. Once it's closed, no one will ever be able to cross over to other dimensions. The only notable way to open the portal is for Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren (終極鐵克人) to be born and let him use his power to open it.

• Shi Xin Sha Shou (石心殺手): Stone-Hearted Assassin. These assassins are unaware of their true identities and are usually harmless. They have no memory of anything that happened before they were turned. Once they are activated, they will turn into stone regardless the outcome of their mission. So far only Han (寒) has been revealed as the Stone-Hearted Assassin.

• Sou Hun Qu (蒐魂曲): The Soul Collecting Melody. A melody created by the Ye He Na La Family (葉赫那啦家族), which has the power to revive someone. But the user must be an expert on music and a powerful power-user, otherwise the song will kill him in the process. Aside from this melody, there are also Xi Hun Qu (洗魂曲/Soul Cleansing Melody) and An Hun Qu (安魂曲/Soul Calming Melody). Ye Si Ren (葉思仁) is the keeper of this melody as well as the Soul Cleansing Melody.

• Su Huan Zhen (速還針): A needle capable of killing once it plunges into someone's body. There are three kinds of these needles; the first kills if the victim gets hit by a storm of emotions while the third kills the victim as soon as it penetrates the body. The first type of Su Huan Zhen only appeared in KO One.

• Tai Guan (鈦棺): A metal coffin that Ye Si Ren (葉思仁) sleeps in while he lives in the Ass Pub. It can suppress the sleeper's original dark powers or prevent them from growing out again. However, as side effect, the coffin will cause the sleeper's hormones to increase, making him/her act out of sexual instincts. It can also protect the sleeper from outside harm.

• Tai Xu Yun You Shu (太虛雲遊術): The same ability as Yun You Da Fa (雲遊大法), it allows the user to astral project and to possess an object or a person's body, only it is used by good. Wu La Ba Ha is not required. This ability has been used by Xia Liu (夏流). It is revealed that he learned it when he was young to peep on women.

• Tie Ke Wu Ji (鐵克無極): Means something similar to Iron Limitless. A weapon in the form of a guitar that only Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren (終極鐵克人) can control and use to manipulate the worlds. Others fear to speak its name because it would cause people to go insane once they say it, so they refer to it as "That Thing" (那個) until its master takes control of it. The current master of this weapon is Xia Tian (夏天).

• Tie Shi Kong (鐵時空): The Iron Dimension in translation. Citizens in that world have very special kinds of names. Of all twelve dimensions, this is the only one that hasn't been taken over by the evil forces yet. This is where the story takes place.

• Tong Shi Kong (銅時空): The Bronze Dimension, where Xia Tian's counterpart Zack comes from. That world has already been overtaken by the dark forces.

• Wan Nian Bu Bian Xiao Hua Yuan (萬年不變小花園): No Change In Ten Thousands Years Little Garden. A little garden located in an unknown dimension in the Ye He Na La family's land, specifically used for trapping people. Everything in that place never changes, people, food, flowers, etc. In that place, things that get used or eaten will regenerate themselves. Like Jiu Wu Zhao Dai Suo (九五招待所), only the head of the Ye family knows how to get in. The other way to get out is to dig an underground tunnel. It can also be called No Change In Ten Thousand Years Little Sunny Garden (萬年不變陽光普照小花園).

• Wu Feng (烏風): A powerful gun containing 99 spirits that were killed by it. It can kill any evil, and also temporarily amplify the power of good, but it will only work if the target's heart is completely pure, meaning he must not have a single thought of evil in his mind and his heart, and combined the gun's power with the Great Traveler's Shen Xing Jiu Zhuan (神行九轉). This gun once belonged to the God of Guns who had full access to its full potential, but then is passed on to Xia Xiong (夏雄) who only has 30 percent of access to its full power. If its master is near, it will react, and if it's broken it can revive itself by sensing the presence of its master.

• Wu Hua Da Bang (五花大綁): A kind of rope that unables the victim's ability to use his powers no matter how powerful the victim is. Jiu Wu (灸舞) fell victim to this rope.

• Wu Ji Yin (無極印): An attack used by the God of Guns (槍靈王) to conceal someone's power. When he attacks the victim, a hand print will remain and slow down the process of the victim's blood running until he dies unless someone finds a way to make the hand print disappear.

• Wu Ming Chao Shi Kong Dian Hua (無名超時空電話): Nameless Cross-Dimensional Cellphone. Xiu (脩) used it once to contact Jiu Wu (灸舞) while being in the Gold Dimension. It seems to have the power to contact other dimensions. This item's name is unknown.

• WULABAHA (嗚啦巴哈): A postfix of a spell. For example, "Freeze WULABAHA" is a spell to immobilize an opponent. This postfix is required in most spells, powerful or simple.

• Xi Hun Qu (洗魂曲): The Soul Cleansing Melody. A melody created by the Ye He Na La Family (葉赫那啦家族), that has the power to strip away the powers and instincts of demonized power-users. But if the power-user ever gets his powers back, they will be different from the ones he had before. Aside from this melody, there are also Sou Hun Qu (蒐魂曲/Soul Collecting Melody) and An Hun Qu (安魂曲/Soul Calming Melody). Ye Si Ren (葉思仁) is the keeper of this melody as well as the Soul Collecting Melody.

• Yi Chou Wan Nian Fang Chong Ye (遗臭萬年防虫液): A can of spray that wards off everything that lives by its stench. It was first used to ward of Fire Ant Girl (火蟻女).

• Yi Neng (異能): Special power in translation. Only power-users share these special powers. They indicate abilities to cast spells, fight in enormous strengths and speeds, jog in super-speed, and various other special abilities. There are two other versions of these special-powers called Yuan Wei Yi Neng (原位異能) and Hun Yuan Yi Neng (混元異能).

• Yi Neng Qian Xin Shu (異能潛心術): A method that allows the user to transfer life force to his/her dying twin. But then he/she will be unconscious for three days, marking that's the time the life force must be returned. If it's not returned by then, he/she will die in his/her twin's place. There is no chanting in this spell, just concentration (but possibly needs to chant from the heart). This ability is used by Han (寒) and Bing Xin (冰心).

• Yi Neng Xing Zhe (異能行者): Person or persons born with special power, also known as power-users. Upper-level power-users possess very special and powerful abilities (although some of them may require spellcasting). If a power-user marries a Ma Gua (麻瓜), there are five possible results in their offsprings. First, they may not have powers of their own due to their Ma Gua bloodline. Second, the children will be born with powers, but will be unable to control them. Third, they develop powers after some time, probably because the Ma Gua bloodline suppressed their potential when they are young. Fourth, their Ma Gua status suppress their powers and need help to access them. Fifth and last, they are born with powers of their own and able to control them like any other power-user. The most common abilities shared with powerful power-users are telepathic communicating and super-speeding (and teleportation).

• Yi Neng Zhi Shu (異能計数): "Power level". It tells the level of power from a certain power-user. Only powerful power-users have this ability, however, if the power-user is far more powerful than usual ones, their power levels will be impossible to detect unless there is an equally powerful power-user or stronger to detect it. A different version in the Gold Dimension is called Zhan Li Zhi Shu (战力計数); it tells the fighting level of a martial artist.

• Yi Neng Zhuan Hua Qi (異能轉化器): "Power converter". A device that converts the powers of Jiu Wu (灸舞) to support the Defense Magnetic Shield (防護磁場) of The Iron Dimension. Power-users that fulfill its requirement is also able to use it. But after the transfer, the user will lose his strength and become unable to fight or use his powers.

• Yi Neng Zhuan Huan Suo (異能轉換所): The center of the Iron Protection Team (鐵克禁衛軍), also known as Meng Zhu's (盟主) palace. The Power Converter (異能轉化器) is located there.

• Yin Shi Kong (銀時空): In translation it means the Silver Dimension. This dimension has only been mentioned in Xia Yu's flashback when he questioned his Ma Gua status. This world has been taken over by the evil forces.

• Yuan Wei Yi Neng Xing Zhe (原位異能行者): Five persons born with the ability to use the one elemental power each; wind (風), fire (火), thunder (雷), lightning (電) and rain (雨). These people are also known as original power-users, and play very important roles in creating Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren (終極鐵克人) by transferring their elements to the Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren while he is still in training. These power-users are Xiu (脩), Xia Yu (夏宇), Han (寒), Lan Ling Wang (蘭陵王) and Jiu Wu (灸舞).

• Yun You Da Fa (雲遊大法): The ability to project a person's spirit into a place or another person. The spirit that uses this spell cannot stay in this state for a long periods of time, otherwise it will hurt him. There is a second version of this ability used by good forces called Tai Xu Yun You Shu (太虛雲遊術). The user of this ability is the Master (老掌門).

• Zhen Tian Shu (震天術): The ability to contain demons that are not fully developed. The user of this ability is Jiu Lai (灸萊), Jiu Wu's little brother.

• Zhi Ji Zhi Bi Bai Zhan Bai Sheng Yi Neng Zhen Cha Qi (知己知彼百戰百勝異能偵查器): Know each other's power detector in translation. A pair of watch-like devices. One will be able to know the power level of another when wearing it.

• Zhi Zun Jie (至尊戒): "Supreme ring". This ring belongs to the head of Ye He Na La Family (葉赫那啦家族). It can activate those who have been created by the Master's experiment to create a conspiracy. The ring has been destroyed by Ye Si Ren (葉思仁).

• Zhi Zun Jin Pai (至尊金牌): "Supreme Golden Plaque". This plaque belongs to Meng Zhu (盟主). It doesn't have any powers, but when he draws it out to give orders, no one is allowed to disobey.

• Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren (終極鐵克人): In translation it means Ultimate Iron Man. He is the strongest power-user in any dimension, one that holds the ultimate power. This person can travel to other dimensions and save the universe. Although there are many ways to become the Ultimate Iron Man, the most notable method is to gather the elements of five original power-users (原位異能行者), and to lose all of your original abilities and start over again. However, that person must not only be powerful, but must also be born half-good and half-evil to be able to harness the five elements. The current Ultimate Iron Man is Xia Tian (夏天).
