Terminative case

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In morphology, the terminative case is a case that indicates to what point; where something ends. These examples are from Estonian, wherein it is indicated by the '-ni' suffix:

  • jõeni: "to the river" / "as far as the river"
  • kella kuueni: "until six o'clock"
