Under the name Terje "Killmaster" Kaizer he plays first guitar in the Norwegian rock band Kaizers Orchestra, a band that is becoming more and more known not only in Scandinavia but throughout Europe for their energetic live shows. Winterstø Røthing was the last member to join the band.
Røthing is also the frontman of the Norwegian punk band Skambankt that plays a mixture of punk, rock'n'roll and hard rock. In that band, he goes by the name Ted Winters and plays not only first guitar but also does all the singing.
Before coming to success with Kaizers Orchestra and Skambankt, he played in bands including (the Norwegian) Watershed, Ebenezer, Zombie Porkshop and allegedly the mysterious band Johnny and the Sexual Problems. He has also on occasion played guitar for The Goo Men.
