Teresa LaBarbera

Teresa LaBarbera is an American journalist. She currently works at WFSB in Hartford, CT, as a general assignment and Traffic reporter.
From June 2004 through November 2006 she anchored the 5 p.m. newscast on KTVE and 9 p.m. newscast on KARD in West Monroe, Louisiana. She also reported stories throughout the viewing area.
Prior to graduating from the University of Connecticut in Storrs with a B.A. in Journalism, she interned at WFSB and was quickly hired as a production assistant, then promoted to assignment editor after graduation. For a change of scenery, Teresa then worked at WVIT, also in Hartford, as an assignment editor with occasional field producing duties.
Realizing her true calling was reporting, Teresa spent several months reporting and anchoring for a number of radio affiliates with Metro Networks, also in Connecticut's capitol city, before making her way to KARD-KTVE. In November 2006, she moved from KARD/KTVE to her current position at WFSB. She currentl;y reports Pinpoint Traffic and is a feature reporter for Better Connecticut
She went to Middlebury Elementary school, Memorial Middle school, and Pomperaug High school.
