Teresa Żarnowerówna

Teresa Żarnowerówna (b. 1895 in Warsaw - d. 1950 in New York), was a Polish avant-garde artist: a paintress, graphic artist, sculptor, scenographer and architect. She was a co-editor of Polish avant-garde magazines, "Blok" and "Dźwignia". Teresa was a member and co-creator of Warsaw art group Blok which was associated with the magazine of the same name. She was influenced mostly by constructivism and De Stijl.
