Terence O. Tunberg is a Professor of the Latin language and literature at the University of Kentucky (USA) and husband of Guenevera Tunberg, with whom he has written several recent Latin books. He instituted the Conventiculum Latinum Lexingtonianum and moderates it every year.

Tunberg, qui ob linguae Latinae studia in universitate Torontina ad doctoris gradum pervenit, philologiam in Civitatibus Americae Foederatis, in Canada, in Belgica professus, professor nunc sociatus apud litterarum classicarum facultatem collegiumque “honors” nominatum officio suo in universitate Kentukiana fungitur. Translation: Terence O. Tunberg, who got his PhD on Latin studies at the University of Toronto, having lectured on philology in the USA, Canada and Belgium, works now as an associate professor in the faculty of classical literature and in the honors college at the University of Kentucky. Specialised in medieval and humanistic Latin, he also does research on the prose genres cultivated by Latin authors. He founded the periodical "Retiarius" and moderates Latin speaking summer encounters.
