Chinese-Jewish? Please clarify — is she Jewish by religion, or Jewish by genetic/cultural heritage? Johnleemk | Talk 16:39, 6 October 2005 (UTC)

1) AFAIK she is not Jewish. This was vile slander.

Additionally have written to her to ask for permission to use her photo in this entry. Have asked her to canvass for photos for the Malaysian_opposition category too

Are you sure she's the first Chinese woman in parliament? This one seems not right to me but needs checking.

Provisionally removing until there is some evidence. This seems too much like the "jew" troll used earlier

"She has always been a long critic of anti-semitism and has advocated for Malaysia to establish diplomatic and trade ties with Israel. She has also petitioned to the government to grant Shia Muslims the right to practise their faith in Malaysia."

[edit] Mistake

She is the first Chinese woman to be elected into the Malaysian parliament

This statement is inacurrate.

Please take note.

I cannot correct it as I'm not sure what the original author intended.
