Talk:Terence Tunberg
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article is largely translated from La:Terentius Tunberg, which I wrote (such as it is). But if we are to have an English version, might I suggest the following two changes?
- Move to Terence Tunberg, his English name.
- For the Latin wikipedia, if someone wrote their own bio in Latin, it seems foolish not to quote it directly in the article, but in Englis. it hardly seems necessary. Furthermore, Cattus Petasatus gives its own "official" translation of the quote, so we may want to use that. In fact we may want to remove the Latin version entirely.
Another problem: la is more tolerant of stubs, especially for people like Dr. Tunberg (who are, afterall, very notable in the world of Latin). I fear that my the standards of en this article will not be able to survive a vfd. --Iustinus 13:56, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- His wife's name is simply Jennifer, isn't it? "Guenevera" being best Latin equivalent they could find, or so I understood. Adam Bishop (talk) 08:14, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
