Ein Terminaladapter für den Anschluss einer DEE nach V.24 oder V.36 mit automatischer Wahlmöglichkeit nach V.25 (Zugangsvariante des damaligen Datex-L-Netzes in Deutschland ) an das ISDN. Wenn die DEE das V.25-Protokoll nicht beherrschte, konnte eine Verbindung über die Tastatur manuell aufgebaut werden.

Durch die Aussage "ISDN: Alles über ein Netz" musste für jeden Dienst der damaligen Deutschen Bundespost ein passender Adapter bereitgestellt werden.
