A tag has been placed on Eureka Mountain Mine Ride requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:IMG4926.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:IMG4926.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 09:09, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:AS14 Hammer.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:AS14 Hammer.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 20:02, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:AS14 Hammer.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:AS14 Hammer.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 00:38, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:939458 20080417 screen004-1-.jpg}

Thank you for uploading Image:939458 20080417 screen004-1-.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 07:57, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Saints Row 2 image

The image lacked a fair use rationale, and you had already been warned that the image was going to be deleted here. You were then given several days to fix the issue before I deleted it. I personally wasn't convinced that a decent rationale could be written, so didn't write it myself, and as no one else had spoken up about it in the several days it had been tagged, I assumed no one cared. If you would like me to restore the image so that you can write a rationale, I am willing to do that. J Milburn (talk) 09:25, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi, the recent edit you made to List of characters in the Saints Row series has been reverted. Please do not remove content from pages without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. [edit] article moves

Nothing wrong with creating the series article, but per WP:VG naming scheme, the game should take priority over the series name. I've moved back the game to Saints Row and the series at Saints Row (series) as is normally done. But please continue to go ahead and develop the series article. --MASEM 01:08, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm starting a double check discussion at WT:VG, but the general scheme is that unless the series is much widely notable than the first game (as in the case of Final Fantasy), the first game always should get the non-disambiguated title. --MASEM 01:20, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
After checking with WT:VG, it is consensus that the first game in a video game series should be at the non-disambiguited page and the series at (series). Saints Row as a series does not have the influence as Final Fantasy or Grand Theft Auto as to have the series page be non-disambiguated (that is, if someone searches for "saints row" they are likely looking for the first game and not the series). --MASEM 03:59, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Alright, then I'll change it back- unless you haven't already. Oh well, I'll just check, and I'll have 'Saints Row' as the article on the game, and 'Saints Row (series)' as the page on the actual series. Tentimesone (talk) 11:22, 25 May 2008 (UTC)Tentimesone

[edit] What a zombie computer is

A zombie computer is a computer that is infected with a virus or other malware and will now do whatever the attacker wants, including using it as an open proxy or sending spam. Please clean your computer up and then once it is cleaned up, log out, go to Special:Mytalk after you have logged out to go to the talk page of the IP address you are using, and place something like {{Unblock|I have cleaned up this computer.}} ~~~~ on your IP's talk page. You can customize the message in the code I typed in the last sentence. Someone will then report the IP to the WikiProject on open proxies so that a member will scan your computer and verify that your computer is cleaned up. If the check passes, your computer will be unblocked.

One note: If you use a proxy server or a network address translation device, have the administrator clean it up. Your computer could be clean but the proxy server or network address translation device is infected. Jesse Viviano (talk) 06:43, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

One other possibility: It is possible that IP addresses are shared between different devices on the same network, so maybe the zombie is a different computer on your network, and you got assigned its address after the zombie was shut down, freeing the IP for you to use. In this case, there is a zombie that needs cleaning up and collateral damage to you. Jesse Viviano (talk) 07:21, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Ugh. What I meant by "zombie was shut down" was that the zombie computer was turned off, not cleaned up. Jesse Viviano (talk) 08:42, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] CSD tag on Robert Farmer

Hi TenTime!

I think i should wander in a second and explain the CSD tag which i placed on Robert Farmer, an article you just created. The page is currently in violation of the WP:BLP guideline. This guideline dictates that when a negative notability claim such as imprisonment, suspected murder and anything like that is made, it must be sourced with external sources that back up this claim. This prevents people from making articles along the line of "XYZ is a convinced Rapist/Serial Killer/pedophile" without it being true. Pages that don't meet the BLP guideline on negative notability claims are therefore called attack pages (They only make unsourced negative claims) and are therefore removed. If you can source the claim with an external source, it is of course A-OK to stay :). Excirial (Talk,Contribs) 09:41, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Saint's row 2

Hi, just to explain the edit of Saint's Row 2 which you reverted, I deleted information on the page because of several criteria. 1) redundancy - mentioning several times that Johnny Gat is in the game, 2) unsubstantiation - many many claims with no referencing, 3) extravagant listing - even GTA IV doesn't have a list of all the different activities you can partake in. Does a game for which barely any information has been released need this? 4) Flattering praise - phrases like "Saint's Row 2 boasts over" sound like they've been cut from a press release.

The article before I edited it was horrible, and I think all of the edits I did made sense. Why don't you at least look at the changes I made? Electrosaurus (talk) 01:27, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
